Instead of constantly seeking knowledge and taking time to search, we turn to quick, shallow answers. There are even instant answers we receive that are incorrect or half truths. People have been taking less and less time to read books because movies construe the information more quickly, although not necessarily more accurately. Not to mention the reliance on quick information has resulted in the loss of true creativity and philosophy. Take the time to pick up the “bright pebbles” of knowledge and instead of glancing and tossing it to the side, study and “content” yourself with it. Take time to understand and observe it until you really see the pebble for what it is worth. Take time to search and grow instead of just to entertain yourself with mindless activities. Seize the opportunity to expand your mind. Reading, learning, seeking and ultimately the gain of knowledge has brought me some of the greatest joy in my life.
