“No man, for any considerable period,
can wear one face to himself
and another to the multitude
without finally getting bewildered
as to which may be the true.”
BEAUTY ON THE INSIDE
You cannot be one person in private and another in public without starting to wonder which one you really are
Step back for a minute and take a critical look at yourself. Is the person you really are the same person you show to everyone else? Often it is easier to conform to our idea of what we think others want us to be than be who we really are. When we portray a different face to the public than what we see in private, the two different faces often merge and become muddled. We become lost between two personalities, which is lonely and confusing. We are unsure of which person others like best, or even of who we want to be; making it difficult to open up to people and have truly meaningful relationships. We all do this sometimes; we all portray a different person in public than who we are in private. Choose who you want to be and let that shine through all around. Be clear about who you are and that clarity will give you confidence and help you to succeed.
BEAUTY ON THE OUTSIDE
“Color” blocking with black
One style this spring that looks flattering on everyone is a color blocked dress that features one color and black, like this JunieBlake dress above. The color gives off a spring vibe and the black not only makes the color pop, but it also is flattering because it outlines the look, making it the perfect transitional piece for day events as well as night outings.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
