#2 Try different patterns and materials. I have solid color dresses as well as patterned ones (like the floral Pink Blush dress above). This keeps your wardrobe more lively, so even if you are wearing dresses everyday, the styles are completely different making you feel more fashionable. The materials can also make a big difference, this floral dress has a stretchy, soft fabric that is super comfortable and flattering on any size belly. Some of my other ones have a more t-shirt/cotton feel, making it more breathable for the summer.
#3 Buy dresses that will still be cute after you have the baby. I have a mixture of maternity and regular dresses; all work for both maternity, as well as before and after pregnancy. This helps to keep wardrobe expenses down; it is also smart because it might take a couple of months to get back to your before baby weight, so dresses that are still a little loose on your belly will continue to be forgiving while you are getting back in shape.
Also, after talking about PinkBlush Maternity all week, I decided to offer all of you a chance to win a $100 E-Gift Card to help you with your maternity shopping, so you can fall in love with their dresses as much as I have. See below for how to enter, good luck!
