HOW TO MAKE YOUR LASHES LOOK THICKER USING EYELINER
Ever since I figured out how to use liquid liner and discovered eyelash extensions/fake eyelashes, that has been my go-to eye makeup routine. I was recently introduced to to Clarins 3-Dot Eyeliner and the three-prong design intrigued me so much, I decided to give it a try. I was a little unsure on how pigmented the color would show on my skin with just a touch from one of the tiny prongs, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well the color came out! Those tiny dots also were able to get right into my lash line, so I didn’t have that pesky area that my liquid liner can never cover without making a mess or getting in my eye. The liner in between my lashes had a thickening effect on my lashes, and a more smooth overall look on my eye makeup. It also gives me the ability to create a really precise, thin line when I don’t want something dramatic. I honestly even use this eyeliner with my eyelash extensions/fake lashes (which are already long), because it gets rid of those blank, uneven spots on my lash line and even makes those look thicker!
STEP BY STEP LASH THICKENING EFFECT
#1 Start by touching the 3-Dot Eyeliner prongs in between lashes on the inner corner of the lash line. Continue dotted motions across until the spaces in between lashes have been filled.
#2 Next, press all three dots down on the inner corner of the eye (slightly higher, but overlapping the first line), and move in a fluid motion about two-thirds of the way across the eye.
#3 From the outer corner of the eye, sweep the eyeliner toward the middle of the eye and connect where the previous line left off.
*If doing a winged eyeliner, start the second sweep of eyeliner higher where you want the wing to end, and then sweep inward to meet with the first line.
Voila! That is my simple tutorial on how to make your lashes look thicker using eyeliner.
